Our department has established an International Breast Pathology Fellowship for non-US trained
young pathologists. This fellowship allows the qualified individual to spend a clinical year at our center,
working as clinical fellow and handling current cases. This is a remarkable experience, considering the
number and type of cases seen and treated at our institution. Time is also available to work on a research
project.
The fellowship is open to young pathologists who have just completed training or are in the last year of
pathology training outside the US and would like to obtain additional experience in breast pathology. The
fellowship requirements include having successfully passed USLME steps #1 and 2 and fluent knowledge of
English. In addition, the International fellow cannot remain for further training/employment in the US after
